Theraputic group yoga classes

One definition of yoga is directing our attention in a chosen direction. Therapeutic group classes use the tools of yoga — breath linked with movement, visualization, and sometimes sound — to direct our attention in a certain direction in such a way that we may see something new and fresh in relation to a specific therapeutic focus. The therapeutic focus may be physical issues or other kinds of issues, such as bringing balance back into our relationships.

Relaxed Focused Attention Activities

Activities such as making bracelets or handmade books are hands-on methods of directing our attention in a certain direction in such a way that we create something tangible. The process is the same as yoga— directing our attention in a certain direction — and the result may be the same as well — we may see something we hadn’t seen before. Something new and fresh may naturally arise. There are many ways to get to the same place!

People do yoga for clarity, but clarity isn’t something you do. Focus is something you do, then clarity comes.
